Carrie W

Do you have people in your life that when you think about them you just smile? I just received an update letter from a wonderful women who discipled me at Ohio State University. From those memories of discipleship times spun my episodes of smiling. Carrie is such an upbeat woman who loves the Lord. I love her spunk, her ease with people and the geniune concern and love she has for people. She has a heart that longs for people who are lost and those without a Savior to know her Jesus (He's my Jesus too :) Here's some excerpts from her letter as she tells of her experience with Katrina...New Orleans is known for it's exorbitant crime rate and rampant immorality. As we drove the streets looking to give food to those in need, I prayed that God would build His kingdom as the city is being rebuilt...a kingdom of light and life. I prayed that those who had lost everything would truly find that "all" is found in a relationship with the One who created them!" I love that woman's heart.

piles, smaller piles in attempt for order

Okay- I don't know if you're the type that keeps items around in the event that you might need them some day. Or if you're the individual that might not be as organized as the next guy. OK- the two above descriptions describes me. And do you ever have a day where you're like, I can't take the mess anymore. I get those days, where I'm on a mission to clean- to weed out, throw away, create smaller piles so I can try to file others away just to create a little order in one's life. That is what happened in the life of a Sidney girl this evening- tackling my back computer room where my Christmas gifts are kept, along with my sewing machine on a table- not a sewing table. The mission.....half way accomplished- whoohoo!

Kindness

"I love the LORD because He hears my voice, my cry for mercy." I do love the LORD's kindness. I've had a rough week and cried out to Him last night and through His compassion on this child, He answered me. I really think He likes His kids to be sooo transparent with Him. He loves the core and realness of one's need because His lovingkindess endureth forever. Thank you, my Three in One.
